Lecturer in Conveyancing University of Melbourne 1957-1962. At the University of Melbourne she also made history by becoming the first woman to be appointed to a permanent academic position in the Faculty of Law. Appointed Judge of the County Court (1993) and Judge of the Supreme Court (1996), the first female to be appointed to this position.
